Forum for SBIR/STTR Transitions (FST)

The Department of the Navy’s SBIR/STTR Transition Program (STP) assists small businesses by identifying commercialization opportunities and promoting their technology across Acquisition and S&T communities within the DoD, U.S. Government, and industry. Navy Information Warfare Engagement Zone

Now and expanded in its 2nd year in the pavilion is the IW engagement zone. Situated right in the middle of the action in the IW pavilion, the engagement zone gives attendees the opportunity to informally meet with more than two dozen program managers, business portfolio managers and subject matter experts from multiple IW commands for short blocks of time. Mini Boot Camp: Security in the Cloud - PenTest+ and Cloud+ Certifications

Hosted by CompTIA, this 3-hour mini boot camp will provide a comprehensive overview of PenTest+ and Cloud+ certifications, a glimpse into the world of the modern pen tester and security analyst, and a discussion of the role of the modern pen tester and the fundamental technical skills needed to protect cloud computing environments from external and internal cybersecurity threats. For attending participants will earn three (3) CEUs in support of A+, Network+ and Security+ certification maintenance.

The San Diego Military Advisory Council is holding their signature monthly breakfast in conjunction with WEST 2020 on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:30 a.m. in Hall A. Separate registration is required. Advance tickets can be purchased online during WEST registration or directly at www.sdmac.org.

Women in AFCEA Appreciation Reception

Join Women in AFCEA for our annual Women’s Appreciation Event. All are invited to join Women in AFCEA for drinks and light refreshments while networking with senior leaders in the Sea Services information technology, C4 and cyber community. The event continues with a keynote by Brigadier General Lorna Mahlock, Director, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) and the Deputy Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Marine Corps. BGen Mahlock will share her thoughts and experiences as she reflects on her distinguished military career thus far. The event will conclude with the presentation of the AFCEA women’s appreciation awards.
