Experience WEST 2021 Virtually ● June 29-30, 2021

Conference Theme: What Is the Promise and Progress of Naval Integration?

Learn and network while exploring and experiencing the latest platforms, leading-edge technologies and state-of-the-art networking capabilities that support the Sea Services' operations.

The San Diego Convention Center is currently closed and expects to remain unable to host large gatherings through June 2021. As a result, AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute will be transitioning the event to a virtual format for the same dates: June 29-30.

We appreciate your continued support and regret that we will be unable to meet in person as planned at the San Diego Convention Center. The virtual conference will offer an exceptional lineup of expert speakers, showcase for innovative technologies, professional development opportunities, and robust engagement and networking among military, government, industry, and academia.

Our team is working to finalize the virtual offerings for this event, and we expect to have this available in the next few weeks. Once released, our sales team will follow up with you individually (in the priority order of your original reservation) to discuss your contracted investment.

For other questions, please refer to the WEST Conference website or the Contact Us page with specific contact information for registrants, exhibitors and sponsors, or contact our Customer Service Center at (703) 631-6158, (800) 336-4583 or service@afcea.org.

Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of the WEST community.

Join us in San Diego

WEST connects the industry professionals who design and build the platforms, equipment and weapons with the designers of communications and technical systems.

To complete their missions successfully, more than 150,000 professionals in the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard who live in the San Diego area depend on the open discussions and valuable networking WEST provides. Senior military and government officials talk directly to the operators to gain valuable feedback directly from them. Industry leaders attend because they can connect with decision makers and operators over the three-day event.

Learn More

WEST is THE PLACE for the makers of platforms and the designers of technologies to network, discuss and demonstrate their solutions in a single locale. Industry leaders learn about military requirements – not just the what, but the why- and connect with decision makers as well as operators in a professional environment away from the office and beltway.

Continuing Education (CE)

Reviewing Organizations

Our Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Several WEST sessions will be reviewed by CompTIA and GIAC to determine if the sessions meet continuing education requirements for certification maintenance. Sessions may also support (ISC)2, National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements. We will post information about approved sessions as the reviews are completed.

Panel Session: “What New Approaches, Networks, and C5I Are Required by the Naval Integration Focus?” has been approved for 1 CertNexus CEC for CyberSec First Responder and for 1 CompTIA CEU for CompTIA A+ and Network+.

How do I prepare attendance documentation for online events?

You must prepare your attendance documentation using your name and registration receipt, the link to the session information, the event name, session name, session description and additional detail such as session length and speaker info.
