The Fastback Data Diode Kit is a complete, lightweight, and guard-agnostic
one-way transfer solution that meets NSA's RTB requirements for the data diode component of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
Fastback is an affordable, scalable solution leveraging commodity servers and hardware without the expense of replacing your existing components or worrying about proprietary compatibility. Fastback allows you to meet security requirements quickly and confidently without excessive support or integration costs.
The Fastback Kit includes two 10G Network Cards, two SFP+ Adapters, a Fiber Optic Coupler, and software for Linux-based operating systems. Fastback also includes a wide variety of data connectors, including:
Local file system (NFS, SMB, SCP, etc.), S3, GCP buckets using the S3 API, SFTP, FTP and FTPS, HTTP and HTTPS Post, SMTP (e-mail), Fastback Streaming API(JSON), UDP Streaming (video, syslog, etc), and TCP Streaming. that allow you to quickly integrate data sources and file destinations right out of the box.
Probity has over 20 years of experience designing, building, implementing, and supporting enterprise cross domain systems for multiple agencies in the IC and DoD. Our engineers have recently completed building an enterprise cross domain solution using RTB compliant guards for one of our clients. That system has gone through the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and Fastback is now an approved component of a deployed enterprise CDS.
