Description

The Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School (MCCES) Commanding Officer, Colonel Arun Shankar, would like share with Industry and Academia the steps MCCES has taken bring 21st century learning techniques in an industrial organization like the Marine Corps.  Our vision is one where MCCES is partnered with Industry and Academia in a relationship that accelerates maturation in further developing a Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment while providing our partners a testbed for innovative, cutting-edge products and services. Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand MCCES' training evolution from Industrial Age Training to Information Age Training Model
  2. Be familiar with new technology MCCES is utilizing to train future Communication Marines such as Virtual Reality and Virtual Learning Platforms
  3. Be familiar with asynchronous learning techniques MCCES is using to train future Marine Corps small form factor electricians
