CAPT Patrick Thompson, USCG

Profile
CAPT Patrick Thompson is the Infrastructure Service Division Chief for the United States Coast Guard. He is assigned to lead all Information Technology, hardware, networks and cloud technologies across the U.S. Coast Guard. From July 2019 to May 2022, he was assigned to the new C5I Service Center in Alexandria Virginia leading the Coast Guard’s transition to Microsoft DoD365 productivity suite and modernization of telephony, video conferencing and mobility. CAPT Thompson graduated with high honors from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He received a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 from the University of Massachusetts, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management in 2007 from Northeastern University. He is certified as CISSP, ISSMP and CCSP by ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium).
