CWO4 Adam M. Bergeron is a Marine Corps Data Systems Engineer Officer. He is currently serving as the 067X Academics Officer, Communication Training Battalion, Marine Corps Communication Electronics School, located in Twentynine Palms, CA. He is responsible for overseeing the drastic occupational field changes for the military occupational specialty 067X (Data Systems) while ensuring alignment with the Marine Corps communication community’s Force Modernization Strategy. This has been accomplished through a realignment of the Data Systems communications skillsets, thereby requiring retraining of currently serving Marines while developing new curriculum for entry-level Marines.
Adam enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1995 and upon graduation from boot camp began his enlisted career as a Small Computer Systems Specialist until in 2006 when he was selected to the ranks of Warrant Officer and became a Cyber Network Operations Engineer Officer. Over the course of his 22 years of service, he has served in a multitude of Marine Corps communication billets and commands spanning the globe from Camp Pendleton, CA to Okinawa, Japan while deploying to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition to being a graduate of Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, Joint Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Planners Course, and the Advanced Communications Officers Course, CWO4 Bergeron holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management and is currently completing his Masters of Science in Cybersecurity.
