Mr. Rodriguez is the current USMC Information Technology Management and Cybersecurity Community of interest manager. Mr. Rodriguez is the senior analyst and functional manager for the Marine Corps Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity (CS) Community of Interest which includes over 16 IT/CS occupational series and over 2000 Marine Civilians. He plans, programs and budgets for Marine Corps IT/CS civilian workforce training and professional development. Mr. Rodriguez leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce strategy to recruit, train and retain a high caliber cyber and IT workforce.
Previously, Mr. Rodriguez served as the Director of Operational Excellence for Aramark where he led the technological innovation campaign and implementation of operational excellence programs and systems that improved the overall operating platform and helped meet client demands covering multiple locations across the United States.
Mr. Rodriguez is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Signal Corps. His experience ranges from Battalion command to service on multiple echelons across the Army, including service on the Army staff and leadership positions in Joint/ Special Operations organizations. Mr. Rodriguez is a proven combat leader with 6 combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Djibouti (Africa). He is the recipient of the Purple Heart and earned two Bronze Stars and a combat valor award.
Mr. Rodriguez has Master of Arts in Leadership and Management and is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College.
