Captain Benjamin Brida commissioned in May 2011 after graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor’s of Science and double majored in Physics and Mathematics. After graduating with commendation from the Signals Intelligence Officer Course, he went to 1st Radio Battalion at I MEF. He deployed 2013-2014 to Afghanistan as the intelligence officer for the C-3 FECC Coalition Targeting Cell. After returning and serving as a company executive officer at 1st Radio Battalion, Capt. Brida transitioned to the newly formed I MEF MAGTF Intelligence Center, where he founded the open source intelligence (OSINT) and social media analysis cell. He completed a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School and is now the officer in charge of the newly formed Tactical Artificial Intelligence Cell at the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity.
