Profile

LT Bray “Furry” Dunaway hails from Patuxent River, MD and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2012 where he studied Aerospace Engineering. Upon graduation, he received a flight contract to become a Naval Aviator. After two years of flight school, he earned his wings in April of 2014 with follow on orders to every Naval Aviators dream location, San Diego, CA. In a three-year tour at HSM-71, LT Dunaway held the position of Line Division Officer, CEL Maintenance officer and NATOPS Officer while also completing the full workup cycle and 2016 WESTPAC deployment. Upon completion of his tour at HSM-71, he received orders to the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center in Fallon, NV and currently serves as a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor where he is the rotary wing subject matter expert on Electronic Warfare and MH-60R Non-Acoustic Sensors.
