  • Ideal for industrial, mission critical military applications, data recording, surveillance and telemetry, HRS-M1HC 2.5" SATA solid state drives (SSDs) are among the most data-protected and secure SSDs available. Their ruggedized design is built to withstand 1000g, 0.5 ms of operating shock and has been developed to operate at over 30,000m of altitude, or 100,000 ft. Engineers designing for high-capacity, highly secure, military applications will want to consider HRS-M1HCs for their projects.

The M1HC SSD provides some of the most comprehensive security features available. It automatically protects all user data written with an AES 256-bit encryption that is FIPS 197 certified. It implements military security procedures such as NSA 9-12, AR 380-19, NAVSO P-5239-26, and AFFSI-5020 for ground forces, naval and air protection needs. Also included are TCG/Opal 2.0 Compliance, Sanitize Device feature set, and the Security feature set per the ATA-8 specification, including deleting the encryption key in less than 10
    milliseconds.

  • HRS-M4 & HRS-M4P
The ideal solutions for ground and air defense, industrial automation, and telecommunication applications, HRS-M4 and M4P 2.5" SATA solid state drives (SSD) combine high performance, superior reliability and data security into a single ruggedized design....

  • SMART High Reliability Solutions’™ HRS-M4 and M4P 2.5” SATA solid state drives (SSD) combine high performance, superior reliability and data security into a single ruggedized design, making them the ideal solutions for ground and air defense, industrial automation, transportation, medical and telecommunication applications.

The HRS-M4 SSD delivers 500MB/s sequential read and 260MB/s sequential write speeds, up to 60,000 random read IOPS and up to 55,000 random write IOPS. Capacities of 240, 480, 960GB are available using cost effective multi-level cell (MLC) NAND Flash. The HRS-M4P SSD delivers 525MB/s sequential read and 500MB/s sequential write speeds, up to 70,000 random read IOPS and up to 50,000 random write IOPS. The M4P is optimized for high altitude applications.

The SMART HRS-M4 and M4P SSDs are designed to meet the needs of applications where temperature tolerances are as important as high performance and reliability. A robust set of diagnostic information is provided through SSD-specific S.M.A.R.T attributes which can be used to monitor the health of the drives. The M4 and M4P feature two HW-based erase triggers, one on each end of the drives. In addition, the SATA connect has 30 micro inches of gold plating for a more reliable connection. The M4 and M4P are also available with staking, conformal coating, specialty firmware and extended burn in,if needed.

The M4 and M4P automatically protect all data written withAES 256-bit encryption. Also included is the Security Erase feature per the ATA-8 specification whereby the encryption key will be deleted in less than one second. The M4 and M4P both feature the write-protect feature.

  • HRS-M1 & HRS-M2
The HRS-M1 and HRS-M2 2.5" SATA SSDs deliver high performance, extremely ruggedized storage solutions in a cost-competitive price range....

  • SMART High Reliability Solutions HRS-M1 and HRS-M2 2.5” SATA solid state drives (SSDs) combine high performance, superior reliability and data security into a single ruggedized design, making it the ideal storage solution for many demanding defense, industrial automation, transportation, medical and telecommunication applications.

Utilizing a SATA 6Gb interface, HRS-M1 and HRS-M2 SSDs deliver 525MB/s sequential read and 500MB/s sequential write speeds, up to 70,000 random read IOPS and up to 50,000 random write IOPS. Capacities of 240, 480, 960, and 1920GB are available using cost effective multi-level cell (MLC) NAND Flash. SMART’s HRS-M1 and HRS-M2 SSDs are designed to meet the needs of cost-sensitive applications where temperature tolerances are as important as high performance and reliability. A robust set of diagnostic tools is provided through SSD-specific S.M.A.R.T attributes which can be used to monitor the health of the drive. The only difference in reliability between the M1 and M2 SSDs is that the M2 employs pFail back up technology in case of accidental power failure.

HRS-M1 and HRS-M2 SSDs automatically protect all data written with AES 256-bit encryption. Also included is the Security Erase feature per the ATA-8 specification whereby the encryption key will be deleted in less than one second. When the SSD has too many bad blocks, the M1 and M2 go into Write Termination mode, whereby no more data can be written.
