As the Department of Defense (DoD) embarks on the implementation phase of the updated cyber workforce requirements it's crucial to equip yourself and your team with the necessary knowledge to meet impending deadlines. The updated DoD 8140 Qualification Program, initiated in February 2023, offers a holistic approach to managing cybersecurity workforce talent. It sets forth baseline standards for qualifications aligned with operational requirements and workforce preparedness. This program encompasses all DoD personnel assigned to cyberspace-related roles, including Service members, DoD civilian employees, contractors, and foreign nationals, in accordance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF).
