Andy Sauer is the CEO and co-founder of Sentinel Blue and a leading authority on building fundamental cybersecurity maturity. His specialty focuses on Zero Trust (ZT), Cloud Security, emerging technologies, scaling regulatory and technical compliance requirements for defense organizations, and aligning operational security to business and executive objectives. Andy supports numerous organizations, including AFCEA and its Emerging Leader Program, and is a regular speaker with The Cyber Guild. Prior to founding Sentinel Blue, Andy worked in defense industry running cybersecurity operations and is a CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA). He is a strong advocate for cyber workforce development, a proponent of elevating women and leadership positions in cybersecurity, and a supporter of the charitable organization, The Cyber Guild. Andy spends downtime with his wife and boys, and volunteers as a paramedic in his local community.
