The
OCDS-1000 is designed to deliver robust one-way transfer functionality in an all-in-one package. This 1U, single box solution is capable of transferring data between networks of varying security levels and security policies.
EAL certified, the OCDS-1000 has gone through shock and vibration testing and provides a number of physical security features to resist tampering. Licensable bandwidth tiers allow customers to purchase only the bandwidth they need with the knowledge that they can increase bandwidth at any time. Designed to provide deterministic one-way only data transfers, the OCDS-1000 supports multiple data types, formats and data streams concurrently.
NEXT GENERATION SPEED The OCDS-1000 is Owl’s next generation all-in-one, 1U rack-mount cyber security product. It offers the fastest bandwidth speed (up to 1,000 Mbps) available in a 1U device, it has separate data transfer and admin ports for improved security, the fastest CPUs to date, and uses solid state drives. All of this is integrated with our latest DualDiode communication cards in a 1U rack-mount chassis.
VARIABLE BANDWIDTH LICENSING The OCDS-1000 supports a maximum of 1,000 Mbps (1 Gbps) but also provides for a number different throughput tiers depending on customer needs. Customers can select from 104 Mbps, 155 Mbps, 310 Mbps, 630 Mbps or 1000 Mbps for their starting configuration. As a customer’s bandwidth requirements increase they can easily upgrade to a new tier with a simple software license.
PHYSICAL SELF PROTECTION In situations where physical threats can jeopardize network cybersecurity, the OCDS-1000 protects itself from physical attack with several different security measures. The OCDS-1000 comes with a locking enclosure that includes a special key option. The bottom is attached with rivets instead of screws so that it can’t be opened. The top of the enclosure is attached with tamper resistant screws and comes with a provision for an additional lock or tamper evident wire ties. A large, U.S. based aerospace contractor needed to securely transfer documents, diagrams, and images associated with different on-going projects and programs to third party partners. Their network security solution included an OCDS-1000 to transfer files from the protected engineering facility to the third parties while preventing access into their facility. In this deployment, the OCDS-1000 transfers different files types, of different sizes (up to 2 Gb), to multiple third party locations simultaneously. The OCDS-1000 was selected because of the large bandwidth requirements and Owl’s reputation and lengthy experience in working with the U.S. DoD.

LOCKED DOWN OPERATING SYSTEM
The OCDS-1000 is focused on a single mission: to provide certifiable, absolute one-way transfer, total network isolation and discrete domain separation.Operating on a locked-down Secure Extensions LINUX OS, the OCDS-1000 assumes nothing. It trusts nothing. It is deployed with a STIG-compliant Certifiable Linux Integration Platform (CLIP) operating system and allows no back channel compromises.
