Major Ryan Ackland is an Aviation Command and Control Officer (7202) and recent graduate of the M.S. Computer Science curriculum at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). Maj Ackland’s tours include MACS-4 at MCAS Futenma, MTACS-38 at MCAS Miramar, and a deployment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at the MACG-38 (Fwd) Tactical Air Command Center (TACC). He currently serves as the Naval Systems Integration Officer at Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) completing his NPS payback tour. Major Ackland is a graduate of The Basic School, Air Defense Control Officer’s Course (Honor Graduate), Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course, Expeditionary Warfare School, Naval War College, Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course, and Link 16 Planner’s Course.
