Naval Information Forces command mission: We generate, directly and through our leadership of the Information Warfare (IW) Enterprise, agile and technically superior manned, trained, equipped, and certified combat ready IW forces to ensure our Navy will decisively DETER, COMPETE, and WIN. NAVIFOR’s priorities align to Navy’s strategic direction with efforts focused toward support Warfighting, Warfighters and the Future Navy. Mission One is to deliver IW readiness. NAVIFOR delivers IW readiness for fleet, naval and joint operational commanders to include manning, training, equipping and certifying IW forces. NAVIFOR directs 600 military and civilian employees at the TYCOM to generate IW readiness across the fleet, to include direct administrative control of 89 commands and activities; manning 15,000 billets across the globe. As the IW community lead, has oversite of nearly 60,000.
